MAXIM COMMUNITY SCHOOLS CUP 2025 – GIRLS

We kicked off with the Girls 7 v 7 Football tournament and had just over 80, year 5 and 6 girls from 8 local primary schools taking part!

We have received some absolutely fantastic feedback and comments so far so thank you very much, we hope all the girls that took part had a great morning with us!

A very big well done to all that took part, spectators were able to see some fantastic football skills, great team work and sportsmanship, some classic rock, paper, scissors and not one, not two but THREE penalty shoot OUTS – keeping us all on edge!

After a very close game against finalists Wells Hall, it was Acton CEVC Primary School that were the victors of the Girls Maxim Schools Community Cup 2025 after winning on penalties! St Gregory CEVC Primary were in third place taking their bronze medals back to school!

Some special THANK YOU’S to AFC for having us again and to the 3 AFC academy students who helped us on the morning, to the teachers and schools that joined us, to the Maxim team on the morning and those covering PE lessons elsewhere!

And lastly, but definitely not least to Kevin from Pengelly Photography for joining us for our fourth year of running these free community schools tournaments and capturing all the action so we can share it with you!

We are already so excited for the mixed tournament on Friday 13th June where we have 10 local primary schools joining us!
