Do to very high demand in the area we are looking for an experienced Sports Coach to join our expanding Team to deliver FUN Coaching sessions in a variety of settings for Children aged from 2-12yrs.
What will you be doing? The role will involve travelling to various settings from Sudbury to Colchester including Nurseries and Pre-Schools, Primary Schools, Sports Centres, Community Halls and outside sports areas to lead independent Multi-Sports Coaching sessions – sessions will include Early Years Sports sessions, lunchtime and Afterschool clubs, possible PE/PPA Cover and assisting with weekly extra curricula clubs such as Football, Dodgeball and Basketball as well as other ad hoc activities .
What we need! Candidates must have a Sports Coaching /Teaching Qualification and be keen to further qualifications and personal development. Knowledge of several sports is ideal however single sport specific experience is also great as training will be given.
You will need to be confident and FANTASTIC with Children – this is the most important part of the job! Excellent communication at all levels is a must as you will be speaking to Children, Parents, Leisure Centre Staff and Teachers on a daily basis and may be required to attend meetings and in –house training. You will be required to attend First Aid and Safeguarding Courses and undergo an enhanced DBS check – which we will arrange. A full driving license and own vehicle is essential.
